My tank is less than 3 mo's old.

I've only bought 7 snails for a 65g. 4 turbo, 2 trochus, and 3 nasareus.

I must have close to 20 juveniles and babies now, all different (including one I did not buy) species, but mostly turbos. These snails are not making war, I can tell you that much. They're spunking into the tank almost every night.

I'm fine w the free CUC, but am wary of them starving. There's very little algae. Will the population find some sort of balance, or should I start donating some of the super-sized adults back to the LFS?

They’ll die off but find their limit. trade some in for LFS credit.

That's kind of what I figured. I'm considering getting a wrasse or something likely to eat the very young. I'm not opposed to the circle of life, but I don't want my big snails to starve and die. I'm pretty confident in my biological filtration, but I have a couple snails that are ping-pong ball size+
