Is it common for snails to stay right at the overflow? I have picked mine off before, but I have a lot that go straight for it and never leave as soon as they reach it. Do they like the flow or the temp maybe?

Should I just leave them be or get them back toward the bottom? Ceriths and nerites.

Mine do the same. I see no harm if they like it. Usually mine will retreat in the tank after a few days but go right back to it. I guess they find it relaxing, maybe snails have a lot of stress. I think this may be a hydrospa for them.

I had a big snail climb in and clog my 3/4" drain line so I added a lid on it and made the inlet smaller but now I have baby snail's in their growing bigger so I'm going to pull then out by had before they get to big don't want another tank over flow from snails
