I am swapping my display tank and am setting up a temporary tank until things get settled. Its a 20 long, with several corals and no fish.

I will be moving my inverts to this tank, and do not plan on adding a lid.

I only have snails (trochus, bumble bee, ninja stars, cerith) and one single emerald crab. Can any of these get out of the tank?

I've never kept bumble bee or ninja but the trochus, cerith and emerald crab will be fine with no lid.
