possibly have been on LR but only noticed them today after new live sand was added.
They’re about 5mm across

Good or bad?

Thanks.

I wish I had more. I've had one a couple inches across in my sump for a couple years, but I just found his empty shell this weekend. Mine looked exactly like yours and it was a film algae eater

I can see 6 of them but it's my first ever saltwater aquarium so chances are everything in there is going to die. Plan was just to let LR sit there for months and save some $ to buy decent equipment and learn as much as I can. Now I'm not so sure if I should start putting food of some sort in there? Would be a waste to let it all die

If the Rock was live enough for them to come in my guess would be that there is plenty of food for them. I wouldn't feed and see what happens.

Could those come with sand? I haven seen a single one since setup (1 week) until adding sand last night.

I've got limpets, and my only complaint is they can get into pumps/plumbing.

They don't have a good time if they get into a pump though. CRUNCH.

Maybe I need to find mesh fine enough for them not to get through but large enough not to impede water flow
