Snails

Anyone know what kind of snail this is? Is about the size of a regular sized egg you'd get at the grocery store.

Nassarius maybe? The size of an egg is throwing me off, hitchhiked on live rock?

No. It was given to me. Break down tank. And size. Remember the silly putty that came in those little plastic egg things? Around that size, give or take a little.

It will, but lately it's been out slimming around doing snail things. I can see a mouth though

It's much bigger than nassarius. I have a few of them in the tank as well

Looks more like a type of welk, I would remove just in case

I cant resize any of the other pics I have without losing the snail. I dont understand why the file size has to be a certain size. It's really annoying

I'd worry about it being carnivorous and eating the other snails... but hey u nvr know. Lol.

pretty sure that's a whelk and I believe all whelks are predators (often on other snails)
