Hi I'm wondering if the snake eel (Myrichthys colubrinus) will bother wrasses that burrow in the sand at night (specifically leopard wrasses)? I know they prefer dead food and usually don't bother live fish at all but wasn't sure on live fish that sleep in the sand bed.

They do eat small fish and crustaceans is the wild, so I say leopard wrasses would likely be on the menu.

I think you’d be best with:
Larger Halichoeres
Coris species
Novaculichthys
Xyrichthys species

Gomphosus
Thalassoma
Hologymnosus
Choerodon
Bodianus

Some of these species are rock sleepers, others (In bold) are sand sleepers. Some of the others could be sand sleepers but I’m not 100% sure. Avoid:
Cirrhilabrus
Paracheilinus
Anampses (The smaller species)
Macropharyngodon
Pseudojuloides
Paeudocheilinus
Pseudocheilinops
Wetmorella
Xenojulis
Terelabrus

I’d put an aggressive wrasse gang together, this would consist of something like:
- Halichoeres chloropterus
- Halichoeres hortulanus
- Ghomposus varius/caeruleus
- Coris aygula/formosa
- Coris roseoviridis
- Novaculichthys macrolepidotus
- Xyrichthys pavo
- Hologymnosus rhodonotus
