Snake Eel in need of home.

I as in my LFS yesterday picking up a new coral. I always look at the fish. There is a beautiful snake eel that is about3 to 4 ft long there. One of their customers brought it to them and they are trying to find it a new home. The LFS said it will have to be at least a 200 gal. He is beautiful and I just couldn't get him off my mind. He is in a very small tank right now and I feel sorry for him. I don't know how much they want for it, but if you are interested, please pm me and I will give you information.

I saw that too...at Aquarium Imports. He is really big. I felt bad for him too. I actually saw him on craigslist before he ended up at that store. Poor guy can't find a home.

nope...not really good at fish names...especially ones that arent 'reef safe'

I found out from the LFS that they looked him up and he is a Split Finned Snake Eel. He is faintly banded...very pretty. They still have not found him a home. He is spoiled. He will only eat table shrimp. Please if someone has a large predator tank and is interested, pm me.
