Being in this hobby you are always looking for the next best thing. We are always experimenting to see what will give the best color, health and growth for our zoas. We all have done it, you go to the LFS and you see all the different supplements with pictures of beautiful corals all over them and you are drawn to purchase them because that is what you want your corals to look like. Over the years I personally have tried at least a dozen of these "snake oils" in my system. I personally have been using the Seachem Aqua Vitro Fuel for years. I did find a fault with the recommended dosing but it was an easy fix after experimenting for a while. Although I have tried others over the years, I always end up going back to the Fuel. What do you add to your system to help boost your zoas?

ive been using redsea reef energy A/b and am very happy with the results. Much better growth on my coral then ive ever seen.

I have actually spoken to the Red Sea Rep about this stuff. It sounds intriguing and i am thinking of giving it a shot.

I just tried incorporating Seachem reef plus. Polyps look great but all the strange algae, not so much

Did you ever try lowing the dosage that you are doing? That may fix the algae problem

Fuel, acropower, and reef roids dosed on 3 day circular schedule.

Fuel has been my go to since I won some at a swap a quite a while ago.

I used it on a prop tank and as directed. I just started the other day so I already cut the dose in half. I try to maintain solid parameters, 3 part dose and check my potassium lvls. I broadcast feed 1x per week and rarely feed any sort of frozen food. Some of my polyps take off while others are always slow. I'm always on the hunt for whatever works best. I've gotten pretty good growth with few melts

With the fuel i ended up dosing half of the recommended amount. After doing that i started to see positive results in the tank
