Snake Polyps

I got home late last night with a bunch of corals & had to wake up my tank to put them in. Finally caught my snake polyps with their "eyes" open!

I have one I got from Vetteman, do they open up at night only? Mine looks good but has not opened yet...Never had one always wanted to try them out but never had the chance......

Even when I put a flashlight on them they close but the lights had been off for a good hour already. I feel lucky to get that pic.

That is cool.I picked up 2 rocks last week ,with about 15 of those on them.Did not even know what they were.The rocks had a few zoos I wanted ....cool

They are generally considered hitchickers--usually with "nicer" zoas. A lot of folks think they're ugly. I bought them cause I thought they were cool--didn't even know they opened like that. Mine have bright blue specks on them.
