Snow flake eel question

ok I was wondering if snow flake eel can get ick. I was thinking of getting a snowflake for my baby to watch swim around in the tank. Reason I ask if because just last week I lost all my fish to ick do to me getting a bad fish from the store. I’m going fishless atm but was hoping eels wouldn’t host and can be in the tank

From my understanding no. Eels are scaleless so the ich has nothing to attach onto.
