Snow

Thanks guys, I got my generator and gas ready to last me 2 days but my biggest concern is getting my wife to fire up the generator and hook up the tank because I will be out plowing the snow hopefully until Monday...

Crap- this is my first winter with my tank-- thanks so much for the "Heads up" on being prepared!
On it!

I'm in Virginia, calling for 24-36 inches here! If my electric goes out, the only plus is my propane fireplace that's about eight feet from my tank, I'll pull through. Unless it's for days......

This is my first winter with my tank and I am freaking out:confused:
I was unable to get a generator but I got an air pump. If the power goes out I am going to wrap my tank in blankets and float bottles of boiling water in the tank to keep the temperature up.
Your luck is going to be needed ;)

What state are you in? And crossing my fingers for you. :D

Just picked up a generator and got it all set up. Hoping not to need it but I'm glad I finally bit the bullet and bought one. Just moved into a new house so this will be our first storm here, not sure if the area looses power easily or a lot. All my new neighbors seem to be testing theirs now and I'm hoping that's not a sign of what's to come. Best of luck all.

I live in central VA.
I am not going to be able to sleep tonight and if the power does go out ill probably stay up or wake up every 30 minutes to an hour to float new bottle of boiling water and check one everything
hope nothing dies

In central CT, looks like it might miss half this state, keeping our fingers crossed and sending out best wishes to those not so lucky, stay safe ppl!!

Filled up the generator gas tank just in case, better safe than sorry!
