Hi Everyone,

I just received a snowflake eel.. I want to get suggestions on what is good fish to go with the snowflake and what should I avoid? I have currently two clownfish in the tank as well.

I would like to get a goby/ pistol shrimp combo if possible.
I would like a wrasse.

Anything else people suggest that go well with it and it won't bother.

Anything that it cannot fit in its mouth should be fine.

I have read many threads with people having various fish from small to large with no issues. They do tend to prey on crustaceans so that could be an issue. It can all rely on the specific one you get. I always go with if it can fit in its mouth it can eat it.

I had one and it never bothered another fish - but I fed it separately. It took food (dried krill) right from my fingers. It burrowed under a piece of dried coral and stayed there. It was a great fish. Of course, if it gets too big, it is an eel, and it is carnivorous, and could become a threat. Mine was never aggressive though. In fact another fish took a bite out of his face, and that really took the wind out of his sales. Wasn't the same after.
