hey everyone. im considering getting a snowflake eel for my reef tank.
seems like from other post, they will leave fish alone if they are well fed.
My question is, how are they in reef tanks? Anyone ever have any real problems with them in reef aquarium?

They can and often do excavate which may cause collapses of your structure. Something to keep in mind if your aquascape isn't rock solid and secure.

My two snowflakes were in an LPS dominated reef and were model citizens. They would’ve knocked over a few frags if they weren’t epoxied down. As far a clean up crew goes all were fine minus emerald crabs. But I had a never ending supply of them under my pier so I didn’t really care. Cleaner shrimp walked all over them snails and hermits were safe. I think I saw my zebra and chain link eels crack a couple though.

What were you feeding them?

Always wanted a snowflake, but I always have shrimp and crabs. I hope it works out for you.
