snowflake eel quarantine

Going to pick up a young snowflake eel tomorrow roughly 6-10 inches. What would be the QT protocol for this guy? Heard they are very resistant to diseases and it would only be in the local store for 24hrs. Just don't want to drop a bomb in my DT lol Already had 2 ich outbreaks and lost 2 lions, took a year before I decided to get things running again.

You should isolate it for 45 days. They are resistant to ich, but can get velvet and some worm diseases. Personally, I run them through a standard coppersafe quarantine once they are eating well and bulked up a bit (they may stop feeding during copper).
