I was helping my friend pick up a tank from a local guy on craigslist and while we were talking about his other tanks, he told us he used to breed the clowns and actually had 2 for sale. I remember he told me one clown was an onyx but he is still a baby and hasnt grown enough to show his full colors and the other is either a snowflake or a picasso ..anyhow i cannot positively identify it any help would be appreciated.

That little hump coming off the back side of the big stripe is why I say Picasso. Especially since it is still a smaller clown.

awesome...heres a picture of both of them. I cant seem to get a good picture of the little guy but here he is as well.. im guessing both are going to have similar coloration?

unfortunately i woke up this morning and my little clown jumped out :( ... They were a well bonded pair too but i will be heading to the lfs today after work for another. Does anyone have any suggestions or anything i should look for? There is a LFS by my house that has these nice platinum clowns i am interested in.

i see a lot of people making DIY mesh covers but what are my options for a rimless? Is there a cover i can buy?

I know a lot of rimless tank manufacturers make clips you can buy. They go on the sides of the tank and give a place for a cover to be inset. I have seen a few rimless tanks covered by mesh tops, and the top really does not take much away from the look.
