So, I'm incredibly proud of how these turned and I wanted to show them off. Thoughts welcome!

I used a Sony A77ii with Sony 35mm lens attached to extension tubes that came out to be 135mm if I recall. Shots were edited in lightroom to apply b&w, sharpening, and cropping where necessary.

...no two are alike, great pictures man!!!!

Wow this amazing @MrDJeep123 it almost looks fake

:p I promise they are super duper real. I had to wait for them to fall on a black scarf, that's the fibers you see in all the photos. The super difficult part was taking shots of them before they melted away. The other difficult part was to maintain a steady hand for clarity at low shutter speeds and small aperture.

Those pictures are unreal, I've always loved snow and your pictures make me love it even more.

How did you get these?

How did you get these?

Well, I took a scarf out to the deck with me, draped it over our canoe, and braced myself on the lower portion of our deck for stability. I used my sony a77ii with a 35mm and extension tubes totally 135mm thereabouts. The 35mm has an incredibly close focal distance so that helped with being able to get uber close along with the extension tubes. I was shooting between 1/20th to 1/60th of a second, ISO 800, and aperture between f 4- f 8 with flash firing off between 1/1 to 1/32. I stood there propped against the deck for about 2 hours shooting away. I'd wait until I seen complete flakes fall and shoot away.
