I have a vortech battery back up if the power goes out and I have blankets ready to wrap the tank if that don't work then I will boil water and place hot bottles I'm the tank

Bring it on! Bought a generator a week ago, so I'm ready to try it out.

I went and picked up a 1000w power inverter and filled up my cars with gas as a worst-case scenario. I can shut down my DT and place my fish in the 40g if needed and keep my skimmer, biopellets, and lights going.

Other than that, I'll probably be tying flies for the spring.

Started and Exercised my generator. be sure you do this regularly and attach a load to it. it has 10 gallons of gas plus 5 more in a can, I have about 48 hours worth total in the garage. mine is 5500 watts so I can power my house except the central heat.

btw, still snowing down here. so pretty to watch fall.
