This is on a piece of live rock I got from Florida. I can't tell if I've got a live stony coral (Lucky) or a colony of a nuisance (doomed) Help in identification is greatly appreciated, along with care and feeding if I got lucky.
The rock can be removed if this is bad stuff.
BTW, if you look in the upper left corner, there's another stowaway, the black and yellow snail. I've also seen a bristleworm and some macro algae growth. I'm headed to the lfs this weekend to find an algae eater for my tank. Any recommendations from you guys? New 32 gallon reef aquarium that's home to two clowns.
