so Close but doesn’t fit lol

I just can’t justify myself paying $30 plus tax for two plastic cups with some holes and slots from Red Sea. So, I am trying to do a diy media cup. I got 3 of these cups from the dollar store, it was so close but didn’t fit.

does anyone know which cups that fit I perhaps can order from amazon?

I hve the 7" versio of this in my sump and LOVE it. I fill it with filter floss and it cleans my water and silences the sump at the same time.

Look good but no info that it will fit my sump.

If your sump uses standard 4" filter socks. it will fit. If you have a Red Sea, with their stupid odd sized filter socks, It may not. In that case you would be stuck getting their media cups.

I am pretty sure then 3 for $1 cups I got will fit on my other sump. But for the reefer 350, I will still try to diy them, no way paying $30 for two plastic cups again. Thx tho
