So excited how this turned out!!

Finished the front face of my inwall aquarium today. I dont have the plumbing done so it is not full of water yet. I was really worried that it would look weird sticking 1" out of the wall but i think it turned out really well!! It is 8x4x30" as i know someone will ask. 1" acrylic.

That was the exact reason actually. I just didn't like how tanks look when they are set into a "window" like configuration. My steel stand has a 1.5" piece of angle iron welded on the front to support the very front of the tank. That is what enabled me to finish the wall without a big "pop out" for the stand.

Now.. on to the plumbing and electrical.
