So happy with my flow!!

This project has been a long time coming because I'm a slow mover, but I'm so happy about the way it turned out I just wanted to share.

1) I put some random flow generators on my return pump loc line. Great product!! https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/random-flow-generators-for-loc-line-vivid-creative-aquatics.html

2) I swapped out my sicce pump for an ecotech s-1 today. Even though I'm using it as a return pump I have it in the closed loop - reef crest mode and it's working great. ( very lucky with my head pressure and drainage)

I am getting these very ocean like swirls throughout my 55 gallon corner tank. The fish are looking at each other like.. holy s*** we're home!! I can't wait to add some LPS's and my mandarins

I might ad these to my 4 return nozzles. Would be fun to see what they do in my DT.

Not certain if this applies to your set up, but I once decided to turn my tank over like the Pacific Ocean and I really loved the turbulence. I dialed it back after I swam a fish too death. I couldn’t read your post and not say anything, be safe.

How often are the air bubble occurs? Worry too much bubbles I can not see my corals anymore

None if you put the the jets an inch underwater. Mine are about 1/4 under and i will get 3 or 4 bubble incedents an hour that pass in 5-10 seconds

Just came across this thread, and wanted to say thanks for giving the RFG nozzles try. Given enough GPH and positioned just right, you can generate "Ocean like currents" in your tank with the RFG. Sounds like you have it dialed in nicely.

Would love to see a video of this tank.
