So how do you convince your vet to give you a script for interceptor??? I wanna start using it as a dip but I can't really find it when I need it... So I was gonna talk to my vet who takes care of my dog, but what do I say??? Have most vets heard of red bugs or are they gonna look at me like I'm crazy????lol

I thought they sell these anywhere. Last I looked I found some on ebay, unless I'm mistaken.

Print out reports or long threads about it helping out your tank by it getting rid of Red Bugs and see what he / she says.

If you are armed with exactly what you need and what it will be used for, most vets will sell you some pills. This is a resale in a vet's office (i.e they make money on it). As long as they know what it will be used for, they're typically okay with it. Honesty works best IMO. And most physicians like to know about different "off-label" uses for these drugs. It's interesting to them. And once you explain what red bugs are, they will understand why it may work.

Guess I have to read up on red bugs and find out exactly what they are and how the drug effects them.. all I know is what they look like and there pests lol... oh ya and interceptor kills them lol lol

Oddly enough I sent out an email to co-workers who had large dogs and I was given some for free.

My mom has a dog that uses the large pill. I order(ed) extra through PetMeds.com when she needed some. If you know someone with a large dog you can do this... doesn't even need to be in the same city/state as PetMeds.com ships anywhere (Cont. US at least).

Or, do as Craig mentioned. That will work... there's actually a text written up somewhere that someone did specifically to take into the vets office. If you search around you should be able to find it... out of the million things I do, for some reason I didn't bookmark it, DOH!
