Here’s the used tank I bought over Xmas. 80 gal. The back is all drilled , might need a little help on how and what side to do intake . Little scary as I'm going to upsize from 40 gal. I have 2 holes on each side with baffles in the middle . How do I know how high to do the pipes for Intake in the over flow box . And what side to put them on . Should I put it on return side so it pulls through my the baffles or leave it as it come out of the teeth on overflow. I guess I have a lot of options. I’ve watched countless YouTube videos. I know I have to have an emergency drain and return are the easy parts. Is there a rule of thumb for getting the intake right for the pump? I will have wet/dry on bottom . Where you people have been doing , what’s the best ? Thanks in advance

A great deal on a sweet tank. Awesome.

lots of questions we can address. I would say first, what type of tank are you going for, ie. Reef? What equipment and budget are you thinking. Are we bringing over anything from the other tank?

i would start with what you are going for, budget, equipment you may have, them start a list based on your budget. And start a build under member tanks to get that sweet build badge
