I've been seeing raving reviews of this stuff and since it IS made by Julian Sprung, I decided to give it a try. Ordered an 8oz. bottle through wholesale at work, $6 is well worth it if it lives up to hype lol Just added a capful to my tank. What does everyone else think of it?

i just got my first bottle yesterday, from what i hear its great stuff. Our local coral guy uses it and he has great success. and yes in my part of Idaho we have only one coral guy lol.

I have been using it for about 18 months. It's a great product and I recommend it to anyone who is serious about keeping SPS. I put mine on a dosing pump and add it daily. If you're looking for miracles, this isn't the solution. If you have a successful and colorful tank this will definitely take it to the next level.

Thanks for the advise...

Have you had problems with Algae since using it???

I have not had any algae issues. I have recommended it to at least a dozen if not 2 dozen people. I have one friend who had algae issues, but they are constantly 'fixing' their reef, and it has no stability. So an algae issue in that tank can not be directly connected to Acro power.

I used to use it for years. I stopped using it and have seen no color changes but less algae issues.

My SPS still have great coloration.

Tried it twice and both times i got CYANO so its sitting on a shelf... shouldn't have bought the big bottle before i tried it. Before or after I never had any issues with nuisance algae on this tank. when i say issue i mean big outbreak in my display obviously there is always a bit of something in the overflow or sump surfaces

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I started using it but and i get hair algae but you are right to no correlate it with the Acropower. In my case i have to admit that coincidentally my bulbs were past due and also was dosing Reef Roids at the same time.

I will give it a try again once the hair algae finish appearing so i can have a good track and identification..

I had hair algae in the beginning, bought a couple of yellow tangs and solved that issue. Been using it for a while now and noticed a slight change in colors.

@twilliard

Have you ever experimented with AcroPower? I would be interested to see the immediate affects it has on algae growth when used aggressively.
Not so much algae growth but I did get a big outbreak of cyano
I have since stopped dosing.
I was down to 1Ml for 80g then decided to stop as the cyano needed to be controlled.
