So I keep failing at Calibrating my salinity probe

How old is the probe?

Probes that need replaced are ones that cant keep a static reading.....

Brand new - I just suck at it- any recommendations? I am floating my packet of solution in my sump to get it to tempature

You should be able to place probe in solution and hit calibrate on your screen. It should have a reading as on your packet when calibration is complete. Wash or rinse probe in RO water first before calibration.
If it still fails- may be the probe

It isn't that it is failing- the problem is my salt readings are in the 80-90s

I think there is a Utube video about doing this from neptune.
If you get close you should be ok for our needs even if you find this info by acident

Has to be probe. Should be in the mid 30's

I know it took mine a couple of months to get accurate. That said it was only off by a few points, reading in the low 40's instead of mid 30's. Something that far off is probably a probe issue.
