Hey guys I'm brand new to this site and need some help with my Radion settings. I have the xr15 pro above a im fusion 20, about 9 in above the water with the tank mount. I also installed the wide lense. Currently I'm running the radiant color template lights on at 1pm and off at 10pm. Running at 15% intensity I wasn't getting the growth that I would like but if I turn it up any more or extend the hours I get a brown algae on the sandbed(not rocks). Also all my parameters are in line.

sorry my iPhone just won't adjust to the light

This sounds mean but. Clean the sandbed and turn up the lights.
It's well documented n & p can be locked up and won't appear on tests. But you have physical proof of the sand problem.

Tank is about 4 months old... I clean the sand bed every night, turned it up and will see what happens thanks!!!

There's a thread going on right now with some radions lighting schedules. Do a quick search and you will find all kinds of good schedules.

I don't think this is that much of a lighting issue, but more of a new tank issue.

The tank is pretty new so algae and diatoms are a normal part of a new tank.

The intensity is pretty low.
I would increase it using the acclimation program for a 3-4 week period.
Starting where you are at now, going up to maybe 35% over the 4 weeks.

It's not going to do anything with problems with the sand bed.
That maybe a water quality issue, or lack of sand stirring critters or a combination of all.

Thanks @mfinn I'll take your advice and wait it out. I do weekly water changed of 5 gallon. Also will try some sand stirring guys
