60g cube finished cycling about 2 months ago. I added my rock anemones from the 24g last weekend. All seemed fine, i repositioned a power head a few days ago and i guess one anemone didnt like it cause hes on the move. He started out on the sand bed on the left side and now hes upside down under a rock about 6" from there. I guess hes unhappy. I thought these didnt really move much? Any suggestions? I dont even think i can grab him where he is but even if i could im sure it will be a pain to get him off the rock.

Cant upload pics for some reason but i will try again.

Yeah... I guess he was unhappy. :( Poor little guy. Well at least he's moving to a more... happy place. Sorry I can't offer any advice. The only think I know about anemones is that clown fish play in them LOL

They don't move as often as other nems but if you really tick one off they will. I just added a new wrasse and he decided to make his bed in the sand under one of my rock nems. Well after two nights of getting covered by sand it moved. Best thing is let him settle where he is comfortable. He looks to be in an awkward position to try to move the rock he is on and I wouldn't try manually moving unless it's a last resort.

Mine moved off the little frag plug I wanted him to stick to and planted his little foot on the bottom glass under the sand right beside it.

they go where they want to go... I had a bta stay in one spot for 6 months. then one night it decided the powerhead was a better spot :(
good luck

Patience. I had one do that and after almost a week it came "back out for some sun".

After a week, if it hasn't come out, move the power head to blow on it again:becky:

I have one on my magnet cleaner. It won't budge. I've moved everything around, stuck it in a current, and I swear it just waves it's tentacles at me...lol.

I had a BTA move by mine that's been in the same spot for a year. It moved inside my rock then appeared the next day about 8" higher up.
