So is R2R what Reef Central used to be?

garbermatt · Jun 18, 2021

It's been 4 years since my last tank and in that time it seems like R2R shows up a whole lot more than Reef Central when I google different topics. Is R2R the main forum people go to these days?

Welcome to R2R. Yes, you will find the best and most current info here IMO. RC has certainly changed in the last 10yrs, especially the last 4.

R2R is a wonderful place. You’ll definitely like it here!

After everyone was banned on RC, they moved to R2R which is a more friendly non-ban happy forum. RC is still great for the massive repository of info it contains, especially the old Advanced Aquarist archives.

This is the spot for sure. Would be the promised land if I stopped getting daily notifications about polls and threads I’m not participating in.
