So many Jebao wavemaker options

Too many to choose from. PP, SW, RW, WP; which is newest version and best for 6' 125 gallon?
I am looking to replace a WP40, but not sure which one to buy. Any help and recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Go with the Gyre knockoff. They are really good for the money.

I'd go with 2 pp8s if you have mostly lps and softies. 2 pp15 will be kinda overkill so I'd run then on low settings. I have 2 pp8s in my 90 gallon and only running them half power.

Do you need to buy anything else to connect it to apex such as the stereo to network cable? Or does it come with everything? Does it come with a power supply? Found out the gyre doesn't come with a power supply the hard way lol.

You buy the adapter. I made my own cable, but I think people sell the cables Apex ready. Don't know who though.

I ran two pp15s at full blast in sps dominant 90 myself. that's what I'd recommend

My sw15s come tomorrow and I happen to have the above icecap cable as well as the dual stereo icecap cable. I'll let you all know what works.

Dont buy the wp as they were the old model. Jebao very first generation so those are old.
Latest model is PP

I know that Ice Cap cable won't work with my Jebao to Apex adapter because it has a male connection. My cable is RJ45 into the Jebao Apex adapter and RJ11 into my Vertex Cerebra V1. If you had an Apex, it would be RJ45 to RJ45. Never seen one, but I am guessing with the SW15, the RJ45 cable goes from the control box to the controller with another RJ45. Doesn't Neptune Systems sell a modified RJ45 cable? I had to modify my cable with crimpers and rewire the male jack fitting according to Vertex Cerebra wire pin directions for this to work.

Yes, it's a straight RJ45 to RJ45 cable. Check the Neptune Systems forum if you have to do any rewiring and crimping.

Got my SWs today and their controllers don't take rj45. It looks like it's a small power jack. So now I have to find an rj45 to small power jack cable? Lol

I run 2 RW-8 in my 65 on Full Else mode. I think they are great.

Be SURE to stay on top if cleaning them to extend their life. I clean mine every 2 weeks.

No, it's not a stereo jack either. It's like a smaller version of the power connection.
