Lol this is going to be a good one.. so I was flushing my ro / membrane with the flush valve and didn’t realize that I never switched it off. Basically for the past like 4 hours I have been just running waste down the drain... ouch. Along with that I actually at one point put the ro tube into a bucket to collect water not realizing it was barely making any. I then added this water to my tank. Is this bad? It’s like the slow dripping flow from the ro side not the waste side. I assume I just added say 2 gallons of straight tap water to my tank but can’t tell if it still is filtered slowly?

At least you didn't flood the house [emoji23]. OK so it sounds like as long as your flush valves is installed correctly you have just collected fresh filtered RO water, albeit at a very slow rate. But that's not a problem. If your unsure repeat the process again (few min not a few hrs) collect that water and test the TDS. But if its definitely from the RO membrane side it would have gone through the membrane even slower due to the lack of pressure so should be just as, filtered as usual.
