Iv had him for about 4 days now. Idk if this is normal and if he'll right himself but my biggest concern is the hammer righ underneath him

When the polyps retract & the tissue kinda reflects light (you'll know what I mean when you see it) it's just shedding. Aslong as it has good flow it'll do fine & the bending is normal too - it just changes shape / rotation based on the flow.
