Thanks for all the input! I'm hoping everything turns out well. Should ship tomorrow so hopefully they'll have a few days to heal since I ordered yesterday.
Also emailed him yesterday and asked him to label each bag other the coral name; he replied quickly and said he would.
I guess we'll see thursday

Mr. Coral is a sponsor here and we do not "protect" sponsors, but we do have rules about leaving feedback. The thread has slipped through and will now have to be corrected.
The rule is that negative feedback can be left in the vendor feedback forum and only the parties involved will be able to post in the thread. The reason we do this is that numerous times before, members who were not involved in the transaction or those that had ulterior motives would "dog pile" the thread and post information that was not true or not directly pertinent to the feedback.

As in this case, sometimes a thread likes this slips through and we (the mods) don't see it until later and have to clean it up if you will.

Sorry it turned into what it did Dave, just wanted to let everyone know I had some new corals on the way I am stoked for and it was turned into bash Mr Coral fest.

Seems like thats the case from everyones thats ordered from him...they just arnt given time to heal before shipped...but people are drawn to his sales because they are so cheap
Yep, they got me. ONCE. It saddens me to see such carelessness. He obviously know what he is doing is shipping frags that have a very low survival rate. If these were puppies/kittens that were being sold before being ready he would be in jail. The only thing I can and will do is refuse to buy his unhealed cuttings and spread the word as much as possible

I had no problem in the frags I received from Mr Coral. I bought 12 sps frags about 6 months ago and one had been stung and died before shipping but was refunded money for that frag no problems with any of the others and all are growing out fine. I think some of the people having problems might also be attributed to different tank conditions/lighting/flow.
Out of 13@$10 per frag I have 2 that survived, both Maxi Mini's which was an even bigger mistake. Aside from buying $10 frags that is...wont be doing that again

Just received 6 replacements from sonny since a few of mine didn't make it from the first shipment. We'll see how these do; were temp acclimated, freshwater dipped and added if the tank
