Bulk reef supply calcium and soda ash. I just recently switched to soda ash from regular baking soda.

Since I've started using 50/50 Reef Crystals and Red Sea I don't touch MAG as well.

I've been following a guy who has a 600 gallon setup and he mixes like 5 different kinds of salts to "get the best of all worlds" as he puts it. So I decided to mix RS/RC to see where it mixed at and it mixes exactly where I try and keep my tank's parameters.

Is he testing all params after he mixes it?

It didn't say much more than "I mix 5 major salt brands together". It was in coral magazine and I've been trying to dig up more info. I thought it was on a forum but it was in the magazine.
