So what prevents coral growth??

So I just did my testing for this week and my test came out like this Nitrate:0ppm Ammonia:0ppm
Phosphate:0.25 Calcium:420ppm Alkalinity:179ppm this is all the test I got right now
So my question is what I need to work on or keep a eye out on so my coral could survive and be happy and I only have 2 zoas right now

The only thing I would say is that your phosphate is pretty high. High phosphate can lead to algae problems and calcification issues which can affect stoney coral growth. I try to keep my phos levels around .02. Also keep your eye on your alk level, it's getting close to being a little too high in my opinion.

Calcium is good. With zoas and other softies alk and cal aren't as important as they are with Stoney corals. Not saying they don't matter just not as much.
