soapnuts for washing hands/cleaning

Dear Randy, I have been wondering if soapnuts could be used to make a solution to clean hands/arms before getting in contact with the aquarium water. I normally rinse my hands with water without any detergents. However, this caught my attention... looks interesting..

I don't see a reason to think a soap from soapnuts is any more or less of a concern than traditional soaps.

Well the liquid from bioled shells would only contain sopanin.. not a list of ingredients...

I'll then test it on my reeftank.. and "accidently" spill some to see if it harms anything. Sometimes we need to be the guinea pig hehe.

I will do that indeed. I have ordered a kilo bag of biologic soapnuts. Who knows, maybe it binds phosphates/nitrates/boosts skimmer performance.. would be something, wouldn't it. Or.. all fish die because it turn out to be toxic...
