Ok, so I have a sock and I put it in the washer, without soap. It washed and then my daughter came and did her laundry leaving the sock in there. If I wash it again with out soap and only hot water, would I be in the clear?

I'd wash it again without detergent and then maybe let it soak for a day or so in clean, chlorine free water to allow anything else to leech out, then air dry.

I purchased a product called safe. And soak the socks in it then let them dry. Safe will rid the socks of any chlorine etc. And one bottle will last forever. I have like 18 socks and change two every 4 days or so. I blast them outside with a hose. Then put in pail. After I am down to 2 will wash the other 16 in washer, two caps of bleach, and then give a second rince. Please in bucket of ro/di water with a little safe added. Hope this helps.

I wash all mine in hot water and top spin
after they’re cleaned, in soak them in prime’s

For the soap, wash in bleach and let it dry in sun or cold water rinse

Yea wash again no detergent let air dry you will be fine. I turn mine inside out hand scrub as clean as I can then soak in 10/1 water/ bleach over night rinse under faucet then soak for a couple hours in tap water and Prime then let air dry
