My protein skimmer got jammed and it caused it to pull in some water that was sitting in my co2 reactor that has soda lime in it. I don't know how much, maybe 3 to 4 table spoons worth of water. My tank is 90 gallons.

Do i have to worry or am I ok?

I agree with salty, should be ok. Just keep a close eye on everything :)

Soda Lime will be ok, just check pH. with that small mount, I would not suspect anything to be a miss.

+1 on @Deepsixx reply.....

As a point of reference, I had an accident where a tank sitter dumped 2-3 cups of Kalk water from the bottom of my ATO into the tank (110G)....tank was cloudy with a huge pH spike......after a water change and a few months for the corals to revive, everything survived and came back great.

Tank has been good, doesnt seem to have affected anything. There's been a slight algae bloom in the last couple of days, which is unusual, but probably just a coincidence.

Kinda of the same thing happened to me as I was setting up the gear. Turned off the power heads for feeding and the skimmer got full of water making it go to the CO2 scrubber and to the sump. Dont know how much went into the sump really. I was at 7.8 PH now at 8.07. I will keep checking it as the water mixes with the tank water. Now my ? Is, at what #s should I start worrying on the ph? And should I worry for the soda lime to get into the tank? Will it do something to the fish? I’m new into this. Thanks.

What was the ALK before and after? This is probably the most important parameter to watch. What types of corals are you keeping?
