hey there,

can sodium ascorbate be mixed in ATO reservoir along with vinegar and kalkwasser?

It can be mixed without causing any immediate problem, but dissolved ascorbate at high pH reacts with O2 and will chemically change.

thanks for the reply, how long for the chemical change to take affect. Should be ok to put 1/2 tsp in 5g top off that is refilled every 2.5 days
