Apologies for doing this as I’m sure it’s somewhere I just can’t find it. I’m looking for the recipe for sodium nitrate. I’ve trawled the forum but I can’t find it. Either I’m blind or it’s vanished into the abyss of threads. Can people push me in the right direction of what is a sensible mix. Thanks

Maybe this thread will help.

I know a lot of people who use stump remover, I use potassium nitrate I bought online and mix it with rodi water. Make sure u use the calculator to figure out the right mixture

I used to use potassium nitrate until Randy gave me a warning about dosing potassium without testing. Granted I never had a problem, but I switched over to sodium nitrate on his recommendation.

This is what I have been using for my tank

I recommend the James planted tank calculator linked above. Use the entry for nitrate from potassium nitrate, and it will be close enough to use with sodium nitrate.

Would be awesome if someone could post a link for loudwolf sodium nitrate
