Sodium Percarbonate

Was seeking powdered version of hydrogen peroxide and found this which apparently is a combination of soda ash and 35% hydrogen peroxide. Is that correct and could this be used instead of buying the more expensive liquid form which has shipping concerns. Guessing just add calcium chloride and you get enhanced two part. Is that valid?

Yes, it will accomplish adding hydrogen peroxide. But it is not very soluble and I'm not sure how fast hydrogen peroxide is released.

Oops, sorry, I was thinking calcium peroxide, not sodium percarbonate.

Sodium percarbonate will add hydrogen peroxide and is easily water soluble.

Is the baking soda of minimal value I should just ignore that vs trying to balance as with two part? Much cheaper alternative to acquire and store and thinking might be able to dose directly early enough in the filtration process.

I wouldn't expect most people are dosing enough hydrogen peroxide to make the alkalinity important, but it may be.
