Sodium thiosulfate and cyanide

So we know that sodium thiosulfate is used to treat cyanide poisoning in humans - in theory, or practice, would it be possible to use it to treat fish that have been caught using cyanide?

Just a thought in my head rather than a fish with a dire need, so no rush :)
