Hello!

I'm somewhat new to the hobby and I just set up a 32-gallon bio cube and I have a xenia and a blasto currently.

If anybody is looking to get rid of some softies or LPS corals (or even any cheap equipment, members of a CUC, or macroalgae) , I'd love to take them off your hands in person rather than pay $50 shipping from places like WWC or Cherry Corals, on top of the rather expensive corals themselves.

I'm in central CT, so if anybody's nearby, let me know.

Thank you so much!

Welcome to the group! I’m southeastern shoreline so maybe a little far. Feel free to message me though if you don’t find anything closer.

I have some nice green nepthea colonies and rainbow BTA’s. Shoot me a message and I’ll send pics

If Duberii isn't interested in Rainbow BTA I might be.
Please add a pic. I have a rose BTA that is actually a tan snowflake.

Thanks
Keith

Don't laugh at me. I don't remember how to do a PM, but I'm interested in pics. Can u explain how to pm?

You can view all your “conversations” once you’ve got a few messages going by clicking on the “inbox” tab...seems obvious but it took me a little while to figure out happy reefing!

Thanks so much. I was in ctars for a while like 10 years ago. So much has changed in 8 to 10 years.

Tech wise I think the lighting has changed the most. Live stock wise I think disease in new fish both in lfs and on line is worse than ever. QT is a must now.

For softies I have some mushrooms, zoa, palys, cespitularia and green star polys. Some are alone some are on large rocks. I also have a big frog spawn colony I could pop some branches off of. Oh and a rhodactis in my sump, would just need to see if I can remove it without damaging it. I really like the rhodactis but I had to relegate my last piece to the sump because I couldn't keep up with its growth. Now that I can easily grow these things I'm naturally looking to move into something that I'm not good at so I can continue to dump more time and money into this hobby.
I'm in Middletown, let me know if any of that appeals to you.

I am far from cool enough to know the names. I'll see if I can take some representative photos.
