Does a tank need to cycle before adding mushrooms and pulsing xenia's? Im cycling my tank and someone has some to give. Didn't know if you can cycle with them. Also has some live rock I could add but just checking before they are given too me.

Yes, you need to let your tank cycle before you add anything as you're going to have ammonia nitrite and other levels that are going to fluctuate and could potentially kill anything you put in the tank. Don't add anything to your tank until it's fully cycled.Does a tank need to cycle before adding mushrooms and pulsing xenia's? Im cycling my tank and someone has some to give. Than you. I have done everything by the book building my new Aquarium. I may have messed up. I didn’t bleach my Pukani rock. I may pay for this but I’m moving forward. Guess I’ll have to get rid of some PO4. Lol
