Can anyone identify what this possibly is? Its red, plating, fairly transparent and soft to the touch. I took the coral frag that was mounted to the plug off, so nevermind the glue in the middle.

I don’t think so. This came in on the frag plug and would not come off after blasting while dipping.

Do you possibly know what the name of the sponge would be? I have the frags in quarantine, dont want to take any chances, even if its just a sponge.

I’m inclined to agree with you. Interesting that it looked red under blues. Is that common with Sea Lettuce? I’ve never had any sea lettuce in a tank before, so I’m unfamiliar with its characteristics.
