My softie seems dead or very unhappy , can anyone offer advice ?
Is it dead ?
What should I do?
I have had no2 level of 0.2 which I have been trying to pull down with water changes 25% yesterday .
My ph 8.1 temp below 27c all over levels are within range
I will post before and after pictures within a few minutes

looks fine to me..last picture is is i believe clove polyps that are just close..just put it in a good flow they like it

Thank you :-) its opened up a bit , it's normally fully open from the pictures as you can see , I will try moving it , I have changed flow recently

how long u have it?sometimes corals close up for no reason and then open up one day like nothing happened....one example is leathers,,they close up not putting out tentacles and it can go for a month,,then shed a skin like a film...usually softies when they die, what they do is just melt or disintegrate...

with the clove polyps u have to put it in good flow because they are prone to algae build up that causes them to close and not open at all...

Sorry I didn't get a notification , I bought the tank a week ago established , I have 3200 ltr an hour pump 2 x 16oo and a smart wave !
It was established but I think I have made a few mistakes , because it was high in ammonia I changed the charcoal , put in Kents prime and live bacteria to compensate as advised ?
Ammonia had come down but no2 is 0.2 even with water change yesterday of 25% and one last week the same .
The tank is 165 ltr .
Parts of the clove are turned black and parts have gone it seems :-( but nothing else in the tank is effected at all , there are a number of mushrooms and polyps and other zons ( sorry can't remember full name ) all of which are ok :-/
I suppose I am mid cycle and my readings could apparently be false ?
I am gonna go fish shop tomorrow and get a second test ,but my next question is , if its dying this will keep pushing no2 level won't it?
Should a take it out?
Some of the cloves maybe 15% have been open today , so it's not completely dead , I put it in a good flow and she perked back up .
I think also I have placed the smart wave on feeding mode and forgot to switch back on , I am very sure the lack of flow has killed the beauty too:-(
