Update on the new reef tank. Lights have gone out already. Light is weird during the winter for some reason. I think it has to do with the earths tilt or something like that. Or at least That’s what the Manual said when I got these lights

what is your acclimation strategy for this order? that will be around 11 fish added to the same tank in one go correct?

I'm not saying its not a good idea. I am just curious. The most fish i have ever added at once is 2. So I want to know what methodology you will go using

Two qt tanks. One of which will house 5 fish, the other will hold the rest. 1 1/2 months on the first tank, 2 months on the second tank. This way the bioload can catch up with those 2 weeks. Added Live bacteria will be introduced into the tank slowly. Each day on the introducing week for the first tank will be 1-2 fish added. Then ill let the tank catch up a bit, 2nd tank will begin 2 weeks after, same method 1-2 fish everyday until all are in.

Do you have the qt tanks cycled? You should be fine with media from your established tank along with bottle bacteria. Just be prepared to do large water changes and keep prime on hand. Also seachem ammonia alert is a great monitor
