Sohal tang question

I had a sohal for four years in my 300 and he was a great fish till he started ramming headfirst into the aquarium glass until he killed himself. Very sad and I won't recommend another. They just need a ton of room to swim

A yellow tang started bothering him and he just started having episodes where he's run into the glass. I removed the YT but it was too late. I feel they need 8-10' minimum swimming room once they get to 5"
