Sohal vs Mimic

My Sohal and mimic tangs were added at the same time to my DT. They were both in the same QT /DT at the LFS with no issues. After putting them in my 220, the Sohal is beating on the the mimic. Bit his tail down to almost nothing. I tried nori, over feeding but nada. Last night I put a mirror where he attacks the mimic and now he is there all day fighting with his reflection and the mimic is swimming around. The Sohal is not even chasing the mimic when he swims by him. My question is, do I have to leave that mirror in place? will the Sohal harm himself?

IMO, I don't think the Sohal will harm itself, it may get bruised from smacking on the glass but I think it'll be okay. My yellow tang did the same until it got tired after a couple of months of smacking itself on the glass...
