Solana to 93 Cube

Man, I read on one of the local forums about your having AEFW's on your acros; sorry about. Hope they are all clear of FW's now. 8 weeks of dipping and QT has been 100% successful for most others...as long as you got all the eggs as well.

Well, goodluck to you mate, hope to see an FTS or two once all the acros are mounted in the display.

Love the Lobo you picked up. I have been eyeing Lobos for a while now...just looking out for one thats real nice.

So not much room under a cube so I built an addition onto my existing stand. We had some granite replaced in the kitchen so I had them cut down the old piece to use on the new part of the stand. Still need to build the door but pretty pleased with how it is turning out. Went from a 5 gallon top off container to a 10 gallon should get me over a week between refilling I hope.

Before the granite

And a couple of coral pics this is a reef raft acro I picked up during the online sale last year. It has had a tough time and I thought I was going to lose it at one point but it is super happy and one of the hairiest ones i have. It has a really blue base that is hard to get in the pics but it is pretty cool!

Tank is looking great. Love the stand and the new extension cabinet. Can you take a far off shot with the whole setup in the picture? Thanks.

Thanks for the pic. It looks great! I want a 93G tank as my next tank, and will do designing something very similar in terms of the main stand and a side cabinet to go with it too.

Hope you will be buying lots of nice acros....QT them of course and then start filling this tank. :)

How are you finding coral colours so far under the T5/LED?

No problem man thanks! I love the 93 only thing I wish us of it was a little shorter I have to get a stool of I want to do something in the tank. Can barely reach the back of it didn't have the canopy it would be fine.

The light is amazing I still have yet to mess with it much just kind of running a basic program at about 70% on the t5s and 50 on the leds. Here is the graph

Some new pics

JKRs rainbow I got from Frenchie a couple of years ago finally shooting some branches!

Same as above but t5s were ramping down.

All I can say is WOW I have 93 cube as we'll you have a beautiful tank. I love the canopy; amazing chalice land you got going !

Hello thank you very much! Would love to see your tank got a write up here?

Yes it is the thread on the 93 cube with reef savvy ghost overflow

Oh nice saw that the other day but didn't realize the name that's gonna be nice! Going to subscribe to it now look forward to seeing more of it thanks!

How did you hang the reef brite led? Do you still have any photo to show? I am thinking adding one blue strip to my sunpower module as well

Thanks

Hey the Reef Brite comes with two mounting brackets. All you do is remove two of the screws on the front of the ATI and use them to mount it with. It's almost as if it were made to be there. Let me know if you have any trouble!

So since you asked me that question I realized I have not posted about my tank in a bit. I have done quite a bit of stuff to the tank lately but nothing major. I swapped out my mp10s for rw8s this weekend seem to be great pumps. So now I have 1 wp25 and 2 rw8s. Here is a video of the wave they are making

I added two new rocks to the tank so I can have some places to some corals. I had purplosely left the spaces for these rocks since I set it up last year. Here are some updated pics. It is a bit disorganized because I have not placed the corals yet so they are still scattered around and in the frag racks.

And a quick video

My corals have started growing again and seem to be doing well since the aefw. I did turn on my gfo reactor this weekend as some algae has started popping up I'm guessing from the new rocks releasing some phosphates. I did have the rocks curing in saltwater for about 2 months so hopefully there won't be much phosphate. Anyway here are a few more pictures.
