Thank you for the heads up, I’ll edit that. There aren’t any cracks. I’ve substituted the nylon screw that holds the fresh fleece with a stainless steel hex bolt. As far as scratches, there are a few from normal use but not readily apparent. I just ran it through a citric acid bath and wiped it down.Fair warning, shipping is put together will almost guaranteed result in a crack or break somewhere on it. I've seen it happen all too many times. Can you post any more pictures? And is there any cracks or major scratches and the acrylic at the time being
That's the way to do it. These filters are so tension based that the cracks are much more likely to happen if shift in one piece. The reason I like to bring this up is because in one day I received a 3000 and a 5000. The 5000 was disassembled and actually came in a notably smaller box well the 3000 was assembled cracked and multiple places and came in a larger box. It was a bit ironic.Thank you for the heads up, I’ll edit that. There aren’t any cracks. I’ve substituted the nylon screw that holds the fresh fleece with a stainless steel hex bolt.
